What do you guys all think about having replies to wedding invites being on weddingwire Vs traditional mail? We have some older relatives that might not be able to do computer but it's so much cheaper. Any thoughts?

We're doing online OR call RSVPS. We have some older relatives that literally do not use the internet. Hopefully most people rsvp online and just a handful call us, but thats our plan!

I think people like sending back cards. I know I do.

We did online RSVP’s through The Knot and it has been great. It saved us about $250 and has been so easy. They even sent a reminder out this past Monday to our guests who had not already RSVP’ed reminding them the deadline was approaching. We are only missing 18 with 5 days to go. We also have some older guests and they had zero issue figuring it out. I’d recommend it.

I gave people the option of either replying by email or returning the rsvp by mail. I only received 5 rsvps by email, and the rest by mail. You can save money on stamps by buying postcard stamps for your rsvp and using postcard rsvps. I bought my invitations on annsbridal bargain they came with free response cards.

We did online rsvp through minted and it worked great! We had to follow up with a bunch of people but I was planning on that regardless. I will say, it would have been fun to receive responses by mail. The excitement! But minted sent us a notification to our joint email so it was just as exciting!

We plan on having an RSVP that says they can reply on our wedding site directly or our mailing address for those who do not fancy the internet. =)

I think it’s a good idea! But we are going to do our by mail- esp because a lot of our guest are older and aren’t to tech-Savvy

Do you follow them on social media to find out about their sales? Or sign up for email? Sorry I’m a newbie!

My Grandma is 92 and asked me what Wi-Fi was last month.

So, age is still relevant to some people.

    Congratulations and 🍀‼️

No, I signed up for email from a bunch of sites. So, now I always get an email when there is a big sale.

I ended up really liking the invitations I saw on Ann's Bridal Bargains, more than on other sites. So, I designed mine, and chose my color scheme, and the wording, and saved it on the site. Now I'm just waiting for a great sale to place my order! I'm thinking that the Black Friday sale will probably be the best, so I'll wait until then. My invitations don't have to go out until next March, so I have plenty of time.
