Online RSVP

Jessica, on December 6, 2012 at 2:46 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

Advice Pllease ! We are using wedding wire's online RSVP tool and I am struggling with the RSVP card wording. (I know the disadvantages and we are having a pretty traditional wedding but because we are in transition we do not have an mailing address to use for RSVPs we are going with it. Luckliy 95% of our guest list is under 60)

Welcome to WW, Jessica! I did online RSVPs and pretty much used that wording. I've attached a picture of my RSVP card (it was on the back on the invite, actually.) Hope that helps!

Also, I hope you'll update your avatar (the rings) to a unique picture we can remember so we can help you more in the future! This post tells you how to do that and more about the forums: https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/new-to-the-weddingwire-forums-please-read-before-you-post/b433c40c1a62b96a.html

If you don't have an address for the wedding RSVP, what do you do if someone wants to send a gift. Which is actually pretty common now.

Anything purchased off our registry is sent to my wonderdul matron of honor's home. (The gifters don't actually see the address but we set it up that way.) If guests are purchasing something not on the registry I am hoping they will reach out to me or my fiance for an address. I am not sure what I am going to use as a return address on the invitation emvelope flap...

MH thank you for bringing that to my attention. I need to consider that guests may mail things to the address used as the return address...

I am using my mom for RSVP because i know she wont be going anywhere lol and i think your right if you dont designate a address for them to return snail mail they may assume the return address that was sent from.

Thanks for all of the help! I think I'll try to find a family member or friend to let me borrow their address for the invitation return address.
