We’re doing online through our website. It saves on stamps & is a quicker response time. A friend only received about 1/2 of her RSVPs back despite everyone saying they sent them so I’m a bit skeptical of snail mail.

I chose online the online option. Stamps are expensive. I also had a good friend who got married in early March of this year & she had to chase down a lot of her guests. She shared that maybe about half sent back the RSVP cards while so just called, messaged on her Facebook or texted. I am leaning towards RSVP cards for the older members of our family who aren’t tech savvy.

We booked a date before getting engaged. If you had said that to me 5 years ago, I'd have been like, woah that girl's a little crazy, but now, I totally get it. We were so excited, we knew exactly what we wanted, and we know ****% we would be getting engaged and then married. I don't regret any of it. We got ahead of it, knew our budget, and planned exactly what we wanted. It may not happen on the day we planned because of COVID, but, it's all planned and ready to go when the time is right! I say every bride has something that works for them and to go for it!

I did online RSVP only, we had no problems (other than the normal guests waiting until the last minute, and this was before we postponed due to COVID.). I got business cards on Vistaprint that matched my invitations and included the RSVP by date, our website and my phone number if anyone needed help. I was surprised how many older relatives were totally fine with it and I had no one call and ask for help! It saved me a TON in postage too!

We did mail and then also had to postpone and are looking to remail new invites but RSVP online. Can I ask what website you used?

We created our website on the Knot and were able to track RSVP through it. So far so good, would definitely recommend! Good luck ❤️

I think it depends on your guests such as if they are more tech savvy or not. You can't go wrong with physical invites because it's more formal but maybe wait until you're engaged and have determined a guest list then take it from there. Things change over time. You may want one thing then realize something else works better.

We mailed physical save the dates & invitations, but we opted for online RSVP’s through our wedding website. We chose those for a few reasons. 1) We saved a ton of money in stationary & postage 2) It was so much easier to keep up with! 3) Our website sent out a reminder for us 1 week before the deadline, so we did not have to hunt anyone down for late RSVP’s.

I used Paperless Post and I highly recommend it. It looks a lot better than sending them out yourself through email and needing to attached the card and write something in the message. Even my older relatives thought it looked really nice. It shows a little animation of an envelope with their name opening up and the card coming out of it. It tracks who has opened theirs so you can make sure everyone sees it.
