My FH and I are considering doing online only RSVP. We love the convenience of it and that it will only let people register for who is invited. We have considered sending out traditional RSVPs to older adults that may prefer it, but honestly they’re all pretty tech savvy and could navigate the website just fine.

if we do this, do we still include an RSVP card and just not include a second envelope with a stamp to mail it back? Or would we just put the information on the details card for how to RSVP online?

I'm doing online RSVP exclusively as well. I'm ordering a "Details" card which will have the "We have reserved __ seats" verbiage, as well as the "To RSVP, as well as for information regarding accommodations, directions, etc please visit our website at _____" <---- only worded better than that haha. I might also include my phone number on the card as an RSVP by text option since I can then just go update the website list myself.

We are doing the same, and including an RSVP card in the invitation. On the card, we'll include specific details on how to reply online as well as a deadline.

I love this idea! I see you mostly have answers already, so can I ask what website you used please? Where it only lets them rsvp for the people you registered for them?

I think this really depends on who your audience is. For my wedding most of our guests are all tech savvy, and the ones the are not are the plus 1's where the original invited guests can rsvp for them anyway. So, for me I am going the online only route.

Personally, if I was a guest, I prefer if I can just jump online to RSVP.

I am too busy (lazier) to go drive to a mailbox to drop off a piece of mail since I usually don't use the mailing system other than to order something online.
