Our big wedding date is September 26, 2020. On 09.26.2019 we eloped. We've been engaged for 13 months already and didn't want to wait any longer. Two of our friends were witnesses and tookpictures on their phones. I was in a sundress, nice boots, and a cute sweater (little cool and windy today). He was in a white shirt and jeans.
Quick and simple but we both cried. I didn't crack a real smile cause I didn't wanna cry too much but a few tears rolled when his went.
This day next year every one will think is our wedding date but really it'll be one heck of a way to celebrate one year together. 🥰😍

    We're planning an engagement photo session with my mama next month and want to use that as a way to tell people we eloped but he doesn't want to do that so I don't know 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Well then theyll know before the wedding and depending on your people, could give backlash or not want to go to the wedding? Idk how you feel on that but thats just my fear. It could be fun to do at the wedding but if he didn't want to do it with the STDs then I wouldn't

    Congrats! We eloped 2/16/18 and had our big Vegas wedding 10/27/18 so I get it! We were only engaged for 2.5 months before we eloped. We did tell everyone and they still were super excited to go to our big wedding later in the fall so don't be afraid to tell people! They will still come! It's actually funny because I keep hearing about celebrities that are eloping and then months later having the big wedding ceremony.

    The band has been sitting in a box since July of 2018. It's too pretty to keep hiden any more so it's getting worn 😊

    You do need to tell people you guys got married, though. It's not an OK thing to hide for a lot of reasons.
