So, FH lives in the UK and I in the US. We've been doing this long distance relationship thing for almost two years, and been doing a great job of it if I may say so myself However, I feel like screaming when I think about the fact that it is almost over!!! We mailed in our completed application for a fiance visa on Saturday!!!! I am sooooooo excited! Let me tell you preparing that package is like doing your taxes x100 lol We must prove that our relationship is real and provide all sorts of evidence to support us. It was a lot of work but totally worth it. I was shaking when I turned it in. It will take between 5-8 months for approval, but I can't tell you how happy I am to know that soon my man will be here...forever!

Aussie I keep thinking of you and Noel and it went smoothly for both of you so I'm praying all goes well here! Ideally he'll come over when I get out for summer vacation so we can have that time together to set up our home and just be!!!

I'm soooooooo happy for you. Don't worry, everthing gonna be alright. For some reason, the Bob Marley song came to mind.....LOL. Hopefully, all goes well with immigration process and Keep me posted.

I'm telling you it's something about when you are jumping through HOOPS of whatever sorts that reaffirms that you are doing the right thing, and that you commitment is a LIFE LONG one.... it's gratification and Peace of my and spirit when you make those BIG steps... Mrs Soon to Be you aint NEVA lied! They say adversity is what grows us...I totally agree with that in my personal life and now in my relationship! We deff feel that our foundation is rock solid as a result of managing an international long distance relationship in a recession!
