This is probably a weird question but has anyone thought or had just one song for everyone walking down the isle? I was thinking of just choosing one song, and then having my entrance at the bridge. We got married in a Catholic church so the processional also included a few altar servers as well as the priest and deacon (in addition to the bridal party: Groom, Bride, best man and MOH). The one song we picked was fine. In the rehearsal we timed it out so we knew how much distance to leave between each "group" with me getting to the altar as the piece was ending.

In terms of attire for the best man and MOH, we went with navy suits for my husband and his best man. My husband had a multi colored paisley tie and we picked a color from it that my sister used to find a dress. I didn't care what style she went with. She ultimately sent me a picture of what she was buying and I was fine with it. While that sounds extremely hands off, there was a distance issue between where my sister was living and where I was living. I was there virtually, just not in person for the shopping of her dress.

Thanks Audrey. That is helpful. Same with my sister distance wise. She went ahead and got her dress from a site I liked and we agreed on color. So I’m doing the suits now. I think I will manage with the one song then. Our venue is kind of strict. It’s all inclusive but they have weird rules like the rehersal is quick (our officiant friend can’t do a run through and I doubt they will let us play the song (it’s a pianist the day of) but I’ll ask as that is a great idea. When I visit the venue a few months prior I’ll try to get a better idea of how long it would take each of us to walk the aisle.Smiley smile thank you!

Im doing this too but how will anyone know when it’s time for me to enter if there is no pause or change in song? That’s all I’m wondering. It’s only my sister as my bridal party and a short walk. I’m also thinking then by the time it’s time for me to walk the best part of the song will have played so maybe the pianist could replay somehow.
