Just Said Yes June 2019

One important detail.

Sabrina, on June 5, 2019 at 6:22 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 9
I've been planning my wedding for two years, within that time there have been a lot of details that were diy as i get closer to my day i ended up being curious about what other brides who have done a lot of diy would consider that one particular detail they wish they could hire out? For me, i wish i could actually professionally get my nails done. It sounds weird because most brides do but i opted to do my own because i am pretty good at it but as i get closer i just dont feel like doing it now.

Maybe you can turn it into a nail party with your bridesmaids? I've never gotten my nails done but decided to do it with my bridesmaids just cause it sounds relaxing and time to spend together.
I DIYed my own invites and that means I had to cut them too and let me tell ya... I had like I swear 100 invites or so. I used a large paper cutter but in general it was just still a lot to do. It was a lot of paper to cut ahah so that was something I definitely wish I bought or paid someone else for.

    Hey Sabrina!

A great alternative to getting your nails done at a salon is a product called "Color Street". They are real nail polish strips that come in a ton of really fun colors and designs, but are super easy to apply, last a long time, and cost only $10-$13 for a full set. You could also make this a fun party with some of your bridal party! Here is a link so you can check it out! https://www.colorstreet.com/tonicuffari/products

Hope this helps and hope you have a wonderful wedding!

You still have time to make an appointment! Smiley winking Call around and see where can fit you in so you don't have to do them yourself before the wedding

I knew all along which salon I wanted to do my nails for the big day. About a month ago, the owner was doing my nails when an idea occurred to me: why not invite my bridal party to join me? I contacted them and got some interest. A couple of weeks later, I booked the appointment. In the next week, I will make a $100 down payment for the group. I will also book a reservation at a restaurant next door for brunch and mimosas.

Lol that's how I felt about escort cards. I was dead set on doing them myself. Had supplies and everything. Got a month and and said screw it and paid the $60 to have them all done up nice and pretty lol

I agree with Jessica... Treat yo self! I was going to do mine up until about a month before our wedding but I'm so glad I pampered myself a bit. I didn't do any tanning, facials or massages (although I wanted to) so I gave in to getting my nails done. It did make me feel special.

I'm very good at doing my own acrylics, but it takes soooo much time. So I'm going to treat myself and get my nails done. It'll take an hour or so versus several hours done by me. I just can't figure out where to go.
