You definitely can't choose what others do: my sister, of all people, did the SAME THING to me. INFURIATING, I totally understand. Just stay strong and make your day about you and ignore what she does--- trust me, it's the only way!

Lol... ladylee... don't edge me on!!! lol... I don't think so, but whatever... I'm not changing anything. Our wedding is in July of 2011 and save the dates and party favors are already done. I'm not throwing that money away, so she can go fly a kite for lack of better words! :-) lol

Omg, are there ppl like this in this world? i was sitting here feeling sorry for myself for having the kind of sister that i do....but even she would not do what your fsil is doing...i was thinking, can your story be real? yes, i guess so...omg...she is so pathetic...you have my deepest sympathies....stay strong.

WOW. I thought people like that only existed in TV dramas! I am so sorry. She sounds like a pretty horrible person. Ha, I would first try and move your wedding BEFORE hers, then not invite her, lol. Just kidding. SHE needs to make the change obviously.

I would just try and ignore her. I am happy she change the date because that was just ridiculous. Remember it does not matter when she is getting married as long as it is not the same week.

Also do not talk about decorations or plans with her or anyone who would talk to her because she sounds like the type of girl who would take any idea you had planned. Good luck.

Go ahead and send out your Save-The-Dates mention the church and Reception Venue in the save-the- date if need be, this way family will know that you did plan first. Do not let anyone ruin your big day!

I would almost rather she got married the day before just so your guests could kill 2 birds with 1 stone... but a month before... that's just awful!
