@sarahstillwell no I didnt take it like that. I usually never have acne ever. So one zit is kinda a big deal for me especially right on my cheek just days before my wedding. I'll try some suggestions but i dont have a regular treatment since zits for me are very rare. Probably the first one ive had in 8 years

If it's some huge raging monster or a cystic pimple, honestly don't mess with DIY/at-home treatments... go straight to a dermatologist. They are the only ones who can really do damage control and for me, it would be worth it!

    DO NOT PICK.

I have found toothpaste actually works really well at drying them out.

But absolutely 100% do not pick- it's MUCH harder to cover a scab than a bump.

Tea tree oil. It's a natural anti inflammatory. So it helps with the swelling. It also dries it out. You can mix a few drops with a base oil or with your normal moisturizer

Clinque spot corrector is a god send. I've been using it for 10 years and my pimple is half the size at the least overnight. Anything that's left your MUA will be able to cover!

Clinique spot treatment is incredible. I've also heard that Advil liquid gels broken open work well, but I've never tried it.

Toothpaste actually works. Not sure how or why. The toothpaste I use has baking soda in it which might be why it works so well. I also do a facemask of 1 teaspoon honey and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, heat up the honey for about 5-10 seconds in the microwave and then mix in baking soda. I typically do this 15 mins before getting in the shower. It always seems to help. Good luck!

Don't touch it! Go to Sephora and get Peter Thomas Roth invisible acne dots. Put them on your pimple every night. It is usually gone the first morning after as long as you haven't touched it. They are about $30 but worth it!!!! Sephora may even be able to give you a sample of one and anything else they think will help!
