Omg I have a zit on my face

Khaleesi, on September 29, 2016 at 10:11 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 57

I developed a zit on my face on my cheek. 3 days before the wedding! I need tips to get rid of it fast. Does Windex really work? Lol

One zit? I don't know about Windex. Try one of those salicylic acid spot treatments. Only apply it on the zit though, not your whole face (for me, it brings other zits to the surface initially if I use it all over). And then rely on makeup to cover the rest. DON'T pick at it. Make up won't cover a scab.

If you have the time, go out and buy a charcoal face mask product. (An example would be: ORIGINS Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask). You don't have to cover your whole face; you can place a dollop just on the pimple and leave it for the day, or overnight. even if it does not get rid of it completely, it should visibly reduce it. At least I have had success with this.

Soften Aspirin with water, mush it up, dab it on the pimple. It works!

    Windex?! Wha?

    Https://www.amazon.com/Dermalogica-Concealing-Treatment-Fluid-Ounce/dp/B005TUKZPG/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1475158587&sr=8-1&keywords=dermalogica+concealing+spot

This stuff works wonders, I put it on obsessively when I feel a pimple coming and it clears it in a day or two. Plus, it's tinted so it works like concealer too!

I second the salicylic acid comments. Have you tried a really hot wash cloth and just leave it on the area?

I use Clean & Clear acne spot reducer - or something like that. But make sure you cleanse, tone and moisturize with their products and then use it. In the morning and again before you go to bed. Do it every day.

I would use something that you've used in the past....I don't recommend trying a new product this close to your wedding day!

If it has a head to it, I am in camp pop-that-shiz then cover it with concealer.

Are you able to get to a dermatologist? They can sometimes give you a shot that will heal the pimple super fast. If not, try a Benzoyl Peroxide spot treatment (I usually use Neutrogena's On The Spot) or toothpaste if you are really in a bind. That should dry it out then you can apply Vaseline to help it heal. I don't usually recommend this, but so close to your wedding I might consider popping it ONLY if it has a very clearly defined whitehead. If you choose to pop it apply Neosporin or peroxide to the spot after. If there's no whitehead though don't pick or pop, you will just end up with a gross scab.

Whatever you do, DO NOT pop it or break the skin. Go buy clean & clear persa gel 10 spot treatment, it will dry it up overnight.

I would go to a dermatologist because sometimes you make it worse.

Don't pick, apply a warm compress, change your pillowcase every night between now and the wedding. I wouldn't try anything new on your face, unless you know exactly how you will react. Trying something new might make things worse.

I didn't mean for it to sound like I was judging you for freaking out over one zit (if that's how it seemed). Just asking because I would have recommended something different for a full on breakout.

I'd go get a facial and have a professional look at it.
