Hello, I am having a hard time finding a flower girl dress that is age appropriate for a 9 yr old. I want her dress to be white and stand out from the junior bridesmaids dresses (pictured below in different colors). All I'm finding are dresses for 6 yr old or dresses for preteens (which her parents...

Hello, I am having a hard time finding a flower girl dress that is age appropriate for a 9 yr old. I want her dress to be white and stand out from the junior bridesmaids dresses (pictured below in different colors). All I'm finding are dresses for 6 yr old or dresses for preteens (which her parents probably won't approve of). Any suggestions for styles and stores to try???

    Our flower girl will be 9 at our wedding. We ended up using a bridesmaid dress and just did a totally different color than the bridesmaids. It's super cute and she loved it. Plus it doesn't look too old nor does it look like a young flower girl dress. It's very cute. We got it at David's bridal.

    I also agree to look at unconventional places. My 10 year old is a jr. Bridesmaid and I hated how the dresses at davids bridal looked. I'm taking her to macys and forever 21 to look at dresses that are the same color as my bridesmaids

    We bought our 11 year old flower girls dress at Nordstrom. I let her and her mom pick it out. It was lovely.

    I had ordered one from Prettyflowergirl.com and it was a piece of cheap shit. Also ordered one from Lightinthebox.com and it was in between the quality of Prettyflowergirl.com and Nordstrom. Nordstrom was the nicest.

    I'm following, too. My nine and ten year old nieces need FG dresses that are bluish. I'm looking at department stores.

    I agree with PP, department stores is the way to go! My little sister is 9 and is our flower girl and it was so hard to find something not too kiddish or grown but department stores had a great selection for us, good luck!
