Ohio couples! Who's your officiant?

Ah! I am so happy someone asked this. We are four months away from our wedding (it will be just East of Cincinnati), and this is the last big thing I have to figure out. So many people are having family members or friends officiate. We haven’t decided what route to go.

Andy Henry is a great officiant! He travels all over Ohio, he really puts the effort into making the ceremony what you want, and he is an LGBTQ ally.

Great and dependable person!

View Quoted Comment We actually attended school together but I’ve been fortunate enough to be the day-of coordinator for a wedding he officiated.

We're having my brother officiate our wedding; he isn't already, though is taking a class to be able to do so. I wanted him to be a part of the big day, and my fiance has A TON of groomsmen.

My fiance and i wanted both our moms and dads to have a part somewhere in the wedding. Also, my fiance would love to have his dad up there with him. So we thought that would be something his dad can do

My cousin did a certificate on line and became licensed in ohio to officiate our wedding ceremony. We are very excited to have a family member perform the ceremony.

View Quoted Comment Yes, she wanted to be an important part of the day and was very honored when we asked if she was interested in becoming our officiant. She said was more excited about doing this than being a bridesmaid.
