a beautiful soul and the best decision for our wedding
Please stop searching and hire Persephone right now. Besides being extremely professional about her calling as a celebrant, her attention to detail created such a personal ceremony that everyone who attended - ourselves included - couldn't stop talking about how wonderful she was. We didn't want the typical minister or ceremony. We are non religious, nerdy, and wanted a simple and to the point ceremony. Persephone worked with us every step of the way to make sure what she created was everything we dreamed and more. She even wore a perfect witch/wizard hat to our rehearsal that was so on point that I insisted she wear it for the wedding. She is a beautiful soul that loves every part of what she does and it shows. We are so grateful that our paths lead us to her to help us celebrate the adventure we have chosen to live together.

Fantastic Experience!
Persephone was an incredible fit for our wedding! She was so thoughtful and intentional with all of her words, the entire ceremony felt so personalized, unique, and meaningful. Persephone is the best
Persephone is the most kind and wonderful person. She takes extra special care of you as a couple bringing real personalization and intimacy to your wedding.
I learned about her life a bit while working with her and you can tell she is such a light in the world. She even was a great sport about the fact that my fiance and I screwed up last payment and had to venmo the next day.
She gave us cuttings from her love plant when our plans to do a tree planting didnt work out. She spoke personally to our virtual guests and all around made my wedding spectacular. She even added corpse bride vows to my wedding!
From the bottom of my soul where the universe and all things godly reside; thank you persephone for officiating my wedding. Namaste!

Hire Persephone yesterday!
There are not enough good words to say about Persephone. She is kind, professional, and a good communicator. My husband and I rather quickly planned a semi-elopement in Ohio so that my grandparents could attend, and we loved Persephone so much, we brought her down to Virginia for our big ceremony the following year! She has her couples fill out a lengthy questionnaire, which I really enjoyed filling out, because it caused it led to a lot of introspection and reflection into our relationship. We had total say on what was spoken during our ceremony, including readings, the unity section, etc. Persephone took into account any changes we wanted to make – her goal was to make us totally happy; needless to say, she succeeded! We were able to talk with her whenever we needed to, and she checked in often with us.
On the day of the wedding, she showed up early to talk through a few final details, and our ceremony went so smoothly. Everyone was in tears over Persephone’s remarks. She made the ceremony text completely about us, and so many of our guests told us how personalized and touching it was. Persephone is an amazing celebrant, and anyone would be beyond lucky to have her officiate their wedding!

The best part of our wedding
Hiring Persephone was one of the best things we did for our wedding. She created a beautiful personalized ceremony that was perfect for our special day. Hearing her ceremony it was as if she had known us forever and she simply wrote it off of our questionnaires. We received so many compliments and still have people talking about our ceremony 2 months later! Exactly what we wanted!
Persephone created the perfect ceremony for us! Our guests absolutely loved it and commented on how beautiful and personalized it was. Several people thought she had known us for a long time because she were able to capture us as individuals and a couple so well. We loved working with her and are so glad that we found such a great celebrant to marry us!

My husband and I just loved Persephone and booked as soon as we met with her. She is so charismatic and such a fun person who clearly loves what she does. When we met with her, we talked about her services, of course, but we also talked about our shared love of the Walking Dead, among other things, and she was just so personable. We knew she was a great fit for us with her humorous and fun personality, and her shared interests. She sent an in-depth questionnaire to both of us, individually, that we couldn’t share with each other. It was a wonderful way to gush about our love for each other, explain how we met, etc. so that Persephone could truly personalize our ceremony and show who we were as individuals, and more importantly, how much love we had for each other as a couple. The ceremony she delivered was so personal to us- I mean there was a Walking Dead reference in there… we were STOKED. She beautifully captured who we are, and presented our love in a way that resonated with our guests. I highly recommend Persephone for those couples who want to make their ceremony a little different and unique to them.
