Oh my. Veils are expensive. Suggestions?

Hello, Ladies! First post here. Today I bought my wedding gown! I loved the veil they put on me but couldn't bring myself to dish out another $300 after purchasing the dress. Are there places to buy discount or preowned veils? Is it crazy to think of getting one made or trying to make it myself?...

I am getting mine from an etsy shop. She closed it down but she has anpther website...let me find it...cathedral will cost about 150 to 200 for me...really depends on style you want

I was personally so appalled at how much veils cost!! It''s just some tulle maybe with a little lac on the edges why in the world is it so expensive?!?!?! I fell in love with a $350 veil from David's Bridal but I refuse to pay that so I'm getting one from Blanca veils I think her name is from Etsy

I made mine, it's from the bottom of my grandmother's wedding dress. You can make it for less.

Seriously Etsy. I found the exact veil for $60 as opposed to $400 they wanted at the bridal shop. I almost bought it at the store because I was so excited to find the dress and I thought that was just what they ran. For a piece of fabric they up charge the hell out of it!

Yes they are my head piece was $50 and the Vail was $100.. It guess it wasnt to bad
