So I went dress shopping back in February and my dress was expected to arrive at the end of this month. To my pleasant (or so I thought) surprise, I was contacted by the location I went to & was told that my dress arrived & I could have it shipped to my house! I agreed, and was a happy little girl when I saw the pink box at my door.
... and then I opened it. IT’S THE COMPLETELY WRONG DRESS!! To top it all off, the dress I received is one that I tried on but absolutely hated it so much that I didn’t even leave the dressing room to show my friends and family. When I purchased my dress, the price was a lot lower than what I expected but I thought it was just because there was a sale going on. Nope, it was because the cashier (who’s also the store manager) put in the wrong item code.
I called the store and they put a note in my account & told me to bring in the dress I received when they reopen and they’ll take care of the rest . Let’s hope the solution is as easy as they made it seem over the phone.
Just when I thought the wedding planning process was going smoothly... time for a nice strong quarintini 🍸

    Thank you so much. Many locations have a price comparison so if you bring a pic of the dress and the price of the same dress from somewhere els they give a discount

    I too have had many negative experiences with DB... Ending result, after contacting corporate on 2 different occasions, I ended up with a refund on my alterations, over night shipping, and a second dress. It took a lot of patience, but I kept my cool, stayed polite, and they really worked with me to make up for their mistake. I ended up with something better than anticipated. I'm still not done with them lol, but so far I'm very happy with how they've fixed things. Wishing you a great solution as well!

    Oh my goodness! That’s awful! Thank goodness they are making it right! My bridesmaids dresses were ordered in December and scheduled to arrive before May 4. They are not here yet. After emailing and texting, I finally heard that they will arrive 6/15-6/21. Wedding date: 6/19/20

    Thank you. I’m so disappointed in David’s Bridal. I’m sure they were aware of the delays well before it took 4 emails, a dozen attempted phone calls and several texts to get this information. I will STRONGLY encourage all brides in the future to shop elsewhere. I now know why they are going bankrupt. 😕

    That is so crazy especially since they had it plastered all over their website that there were no production delays & everything would get to their customers on time 😒😒😒

    Agreed. Thank goodness my vendors were flexible. A little extra money and loss of our original officiant (and loss of retainer), we are lined up for September. Praying for a positive outcome.
