Officiants!! How much did you pay?

I am looking into officiants and I have no clue what reasonable pricing is. We are having a non-religious and short/sweet ceremony (30 mins max) so far the range is $150-600.

Ok so $400 in the Fort Lauderdale area seems to be typical? Thats for most of it being personalized.

My officiant is absolutely free. He is my pastor. He has been my pastor for 15 years I love him to death and I'm like a daughter to him just like he is a father to me. Thank God for relationships.

My minister is doing it for free. She said that I didn't even have to make a donation to the church.

We live in Portland, Oregon and our 'standard fee" is $250.00. That includes meeting with you, writing your ceremony for you and sending it ahead of time seeking your approval and suggestions, attending your rehearsal (and running it if you have no coordinator), arriving at your ceremony at least 20 minutes before it is scheduled to start, and filing the license afterwards. That said, we do work for all couples regardless of their budgets and you do not get any less service from us. Rehearsal times are first come first served and if I get a wedding for the date and time of your rehearsal I will take the wedding. Regions vary, but this is our pricing.

I work for a church and suggest $300.00 for pre-material 8 week course, $100.00 for rehearsal and $200.00 for Wedding, depending on how much he has to do.
