Im not sure but I’ll take a guess, please someone correct me if I’m wrong, I think it’s if there’s anything you want him to say or do. A specific line or bible verse for example.

We used that part to request no mention of religion or "blessings" or future children. Too often there is foreshadowing to future children and we didn't want false hope in the hearts of our guests. We also did a handfasting and a unity ceremony.

One that was mentioned recently was stepping aside for the first kiss so there is no photobombing from your officiant

I’d use it for things I don’t want them to say. Like asking who gives this woman or saying anything about two becoming one or pronouncing man and wife. Stuff like that.

Our special requests were: mention that this is an unplugged ceremony before it began, nothing religious, nothing about “obeying” and lastly to do a knot tying unity.

One thing that comes to mind is how you want to be announced once you're married at the end of the ceremony. Some people don't like Mr. And Mrs. Grooms first and last name. So, for example, we are doing Mr and Mrs Grooms first name & brides first name, grooms last name. Hope that makes sense lol
