My husband and I are renewing our vows this coming fall on Halloween. Our wedding last year was ruined by the in laws so we had a small intimate ceremony instead of the large wedding we dreamed of. Now we are having what we want without the in laws invited! We are looking for someone who will dress...

We are looking for someone who will dress up, play the part, and be out side the box right along with us. Any suggestions would be helpful! Our wedding is already booked and paid in full at Westminster on Halloween (10/31/2015). Our guests are dressing up, the caterer/staff are dressing up and the entire ceremony and reception is pretty much a massive Halloween party with an undertone of A Nightmare Before Christmas. We would love to find an officiant that can help us have a creative ceremony as well.

Colette, I believe you have to be on the desktop version to do that. Just go into your profile settings in the top-right corner of the screen.

I am so sorry that your in laws were so awful and rude to you both I agree that you might just want to find a friend. Even then, it would probably be helpful if you helped them with the cost of their costume. Best of luck and have lots of fun with your renewal!!!

Oh my gosh-- I am so sorry! I'd give you a hug if you were close by! That's truly terrible. I'd check out the vendors in your area, if you'd definitely prefer an officiant-- email and ask if they'd be willing to dress up, and explain the situation. Hopefully once you meet with them, you'll get a feel for how they'll be. If not, then perhaps a friend or other family member would be willing to stand up and do it?

That is horrific! Glad you cut off ties with them and LOVE the idea of having a Halloween themed one this year. Glad the ladies here were able to help you with the issue. Let us know how it goes and I am definitely looking out for the BAM! Feel free to share any decorations and whatnot so far
