Officiant fee for Catholic priest

When I asked my priest about any fees, he merely stated that he doesn't have a fee. Of course, I know some type of gratuity is appreciated. But I don't know a $$ amount. What did you give your officiant? BTW, we are making a $125 contribution to the Restoration Fund for the use of the church. ...

We are getting married by a Judge and he did not want to charge us. (He's a friend of the fam.) he's a scotch drinker so we bought him a really nice bottle of scotch--It was $150 I think?

I'm not saying give him booze, but we thought it was a generous amount. (Although a lot of Catholics like their booze!) Smiley winking I am marrying into a Catholic family, lol.
