Officially thirty days until "we do"

Jasmine , on May 21, 2019 at 10:55 AM Posted in Planning 0 4

We have 30 days until the wedding. I am super excited and super relaxed which is a bit scary. I am a planner so I started planning and securing vendors quickly, as some was saying it was to early to do that. I always said the last two months I want to be relax and have most of things completed. Although, now that is the case I feel scared that I am too relax and missing things. Here is what I have thus far..please let me know if I am missing anything..

Bridesmaids robes/jewelry, flower girl signs/head bands, cake topper, cake stand, guest book signing, ringer bearer ring box, wedding dress/veil (last fitting 6/1/19), wedding shoes, Groom's Tux, Groomen's Tux, Parents Tux, Parents Dresses, wedding bands, bride parents gift, wedding programs, escort cards.

Vendors

Photographer, videographer, baker, florist, venue/cater, decor company.

Tips for vendors, day of layout, photo inspo / music lists, centerpieces, aisle decor/ venue decor. If someone is picking up cake or flowers make sure they have the vendors contact info and vise versa.

    Thank You !

I have a decor company so centerpieces, aisle decor/ venue decor is already taken care. My cake is being delivered day of wedding and flowers the day before which my coordinator is taking care of. Are we suppose to tip on top of price?

I figured you had all of that! From what I have read about tips is that if gratuity is not included on the bill you tip unless they own their own company then you don't have to. Our DJ and photographers own their own businesses so we don't have to tip them but are going to give them a nice thank you card and a gift certificate for dinner (for photographers, they are married) and a thank you card and a little cake and a birthday card with a gift certificate ( for our DJ its his birthday for day after our wedding). Our caterer includes gratuity so we are not tipping on top of that, maybe a nice thank you card. Other then that we don't have any other vendors( cake is homemade, flowers are fake and all ordered already and donuts are being picked up the day of).

O kay. So I believe most of our vendors own their company. Our photographer contract just states that we have to provide a plate for them. Thank you for the information.
