Off season and peak season

Mrs.RtoBe, on February 3, 2016 at 8:48 AM Posted in Planning 0 6

This question I'm about to ask is coming from me posting about possibly getting married in november instead. I know you can find in general the national peak and non peak months for weddings, but how can you find one for your state and area? I'm near dallas , tx and I can only assume what I think peak seasons are here but would be great to get a more definite answer.

Peak is generally mid-March through June. And Late August through November.

In my experience it varied a bit from venue to venue but ours (in Atlanta) looks like this:

Soft Months Mar, Jul, Aug, Sep and Nov

Off-Peak Months Jan, Feb and Dec

Peak Months April, May, Jun and Oct

It tends to vary from venue to venue. Some have peak, near peak, and off peak prices. Check in with the venues you're interested in and you can generally tell by pricing when peak is or isn't.

Depends on area. Here in FL, peak is March-June. Slowest month is Jan.

Feb., July, Aug. & Sept. are slow. Then it picks up Oct.-Dec.

Look at vendors in your area, generally their pricing will say "Jan through May (off peak): $1000" and "June through October (peak): $2000" Fridays and Sundays are off peak prices, and Saturdays are all $500 more.

    Or something like that.
