I'm so close to the big day! My doctor said I have the Influenza A Virus on Thursday. I've had a high fever of 102.3 with it going down only slightly for 3 days in a row. Finally broke it late Saturday night. Thursday I kept passin Of all the times to get the flu! 1

g out on the couch cuz I felt so weak and couldn't keep food down. It's totally messed me up with Wedding errands. Thankfully our parents have been very helpful. My fiance and I are both on tamiflu. His is precautionary but he is showing small symptoms. The doctor said I should be fine for our wedding day on Sunday.

Anyone ever been very sick on or close to their wedding?

I am so sorry and I really hope you feel better by the big day. Honestly still just take it light and I think you may be so excited that the big day is coming up that you will have the strength to get through it. Of course even if you are out of the contagious stage just make sure you let your hair and makeup artist and others around you.

Thank you! I will be sure to let the hair stylist know. Maybe she can just use multiple swabs/make-up applicators so there's no double dipping.

Ive heard 90% of all brides planning their wedding get sick sometime during it. Which includes me. It's all the stress and planning. Hope you better and congrats!!

Yup! Hubby got mildly sick 2 days before our wedding, rallied like a champ for our wedding day, and spent the entire 1st day of our honeymoon sleeping. Fortunately we were both exhausted so we did a lot of lounging in our gorgeous honeymoon suite. Not ideal but much needed.

When we returned from our honeymoon we both got very sick for three weeks. It took two rounds on antibiotics which we’ve never done.

Oh noooooo!! Have fiancé start drinking Emergency-C Immune Boost ASAP! I have one in the morning and one in the evening every time I start feeling like I may be getting sick.
