I get what you mean, I’d just like to point out that it’s not always about rushing to get married.
My wedding is in December - obviously if there are risks of getting my guests sick I will cancel. I will just wait to cancel until we’re closer to the date. Not only do I want to get married then because I’ve been planning and am excited for that day, but mostly because my family lives in a different country and they’ve already bought plane tickets and booked accommodation. I haven’t seen my grandparents in years and am insanely excited to have them join me on the special day. My love for my fiancé won’t change depending when I get married but there are so many other things Involved in a wedding and for me it really is about a nice time with friends and family as well.

If you don't feel comfortable having your wedding in 2020, don't feel obligated to. You are your partner will do what's best for you and that's all that matters!
