My fiancee and I just chose our wedding venue after a long, 2 month search with about 10 different venues. We finally chose Le Meridien in Philadelphia!

I contacted Le Meridien to inform them that we chose their hotel to host our wedding and asked about discounted dates. She originally told me September 13th, but we are hesitant as that's now only 10 months away. So then she gave us two more dates: October 18th and November 15th.

I don't really have a preference and my fiancee told me to choose whichever one I liked better. I need help!

Has anyone planned their wedding or had their wedding in either month? What did you like and what didn't you like about those months? What did you do for your honeymoon?

I vote for October! 10 months is enough time. Just book your photographer and florist asap!

I picked november as I wanted a fall wedding. My mums are looking great and the foliage in my yard is awesome. i just need it to hold out one more week! I was extra surprised at some of the discounts I was able to get in November! Smiley smile No one is complaining its too close to thanksgiving. with advance notice people will be able to make arrangements.
