October is the height of hurricane season. If you want to go to the Caribbean and be free of threats from hurricane, you need to go way south...down by Aruba and Barbados.

St.Lucia is beautiful!
According to the WeddingWire Honeymoon section, June through October marks hurricane season on the island. Is this a deal breaker for you both?
Are there other locations you and your FS are interested in visiting for your honeymoon?

I would honestly avoid the area altogether during that time because although can go to some other islands outside of the hurricane belt, there is a likely chance that you'll have a connecting flight in Florida and could get stuck due to weather anyway. I would either go on a delayed honeymoon if you are set there, or consider another location. If you want something else all-inclusive, consider parts of Mexico maybe?
