October Honeymoon Suggestions

My biggest suggestion is get a travel agent! Ours was amazing! We told her we wanted a secluded cabin in the mountains, it HAD to have a hot tub, no more then 8 hours away so we could drive, and our budget. She found us the perfect place within a day! Best part is she doesn’t cost a thing! She gets paid through the companies she books you with. She also got us a discount that saved us about $300

Definitely suggest this. This is what travel agents are for. They know all the ins / outs and know where / how to get you discounts especially newlyweds.

Hi Taylor! For our October, my husband and I went to St. Lucia and Barbados!! We stayed at an all-inclusive resort on St. Lucia but not in Barbados - because we wanted to eat out at other restaurants! They were both beautiful beach locations, and far enough south that we had pretty good weather while we were there. 🏖️

We’re getting married in October 2021 too. 💕 We are planning to honeymoon somewhere in the Cayman Islands but are going to wait until February 2022. We are mostly waiting because the weather is supposed to be better in February than October and we thought it’d be fun to do during Valentine’s Day. We also want to escape the miserably cold weather we usually have in Kansas City during February haha. I would definitely research the best times to visit places especially in the Caribbean because some places have different rainy seasons. I did read that Italy is a good spot to visit and they have some beautiful beaches if that is an option!

That makes total sense holding off. Depending where we want to go, we might go that route too. We're in Maryland so I definitely wouldn't be opposed to holding off a few months and escaping to warmer weather! Thanks for the input!
