How are my October 2021 brides feeling? I'm getting married in the suburbs of Philly (Horsham PA) my venue has been great. We have the option to have some guests seated inside and some guests seated on the veranda which is right on the other side of a glass wall from the ball room. This is not my ideal option and we will only go this route if restrictions are still crazy when it gets closer to our wedding. We really want the reception to be indoors like we originally planned. We have about 165 on our guest list and we are prepared to cut that down but I would be thrilled if we could just have 125. Please let me know you you Fall 2021 brides are making out.

Thankfully we do not need to worry about downsizing. Our wedding will be outdoor with only close family and the reception will have everyone else however it is at our discretion as to how we manage that. Waiting an entire extra year has pushed me to want to elope so badly because I’m just ready to be his wife. We had to change how some things looked because of the pandemic, but I’m just hoping when October comes around, again, we will not have the added stressors.

I'm October 2021 in Bryn Athyn, and I have pretty much given up on the big wedding. We have already rescheduled once, and although our new venue has an outdoor space that can accommodate our 150, I just don't foresee a safe way to host that many people with how slow the vaccinations are going. Especially since my entire family lives in California, so they would have to fly in, and I don't think they are comfortable with traveling Smiley sad

I think we are probably going to end up having 50 people. However, we did send out our "Save Our New Date" to the original guest list, and will just be re-evaluating everything when it is time for the invites to go out! But after trying to re-plan, then cancelling our original wedding & re-planning at a different venue, I have learned to have no expectations so that I don't get my hopes up about anything for them to be shattered again!

We’re legally married b having our religious wedding and full reception this October!! I’m feeling very confident about this Fall! Our list is at 235, but I’m happy with 125 (excluding a lot of plus ones). I’m NOT excited to have masks in my professional pictures whatsoever though

I don't love knowing I'll see masks on guests in the pictures but our wedding party will not be wearing masks so I won't be worried about that.

October 16 in mechanicsburg PA. Our venue created an outdoor option and we are going forward as planned. We cut our guest list already to 120, I’m hoping about 75% will rsvp yes. It seems like most places are easing restrictions slowly so I’m really hopeful.

Do you think masks will be “required” at that time? I like the option of having guests decide what they’re comfortable with. One wedding did colored bracelets (red: no touching, yellow: okay with high fives/family only, green: vaccinated/ not at risk)

My venue said masks are recommended but will not be enforced as they will not be going around and making my guests feel uncomfortable by telling them to put a mask on. My venue also said that they will only set up tables for social distancing if I request it, otherwise they will set up as normal. I think asks will be a thing for a while, definitely in to 2022.

My wedding is 10/17/21 brunch wedding in New Hope, PA. My vendors, family, fiancé and I are confident things should be okay this fall. I mean, plenty of people had weddings this past year that seemed kinda normal when things were crazier so we are pretty confident all should be well from the summer forward. Our venue manager says he’s confident we wouldn’t have to be in a tent and be allowed inside. Our ceremony is outside and so is half our cocktail hour space. We also have vintage lounge areas outside to allow guests to hang out outside if they don’t want to dance. We had that feature since our first date of 10/17/20 but now we think the lounges outside are even more perfect.

We are inviting about 170 but we foresee about 100-130 max in attendance which at this point I’m completely fine with. At the end of the day at this point, I just want a beautiful wedding and my aesthetic vision to come true. I don’t care how many people I have anymore. I won’t postpone again. I just want to marry my fiancé. The ones closest to me will be there and at the end of the day that’s what matters to me.

Honestly not feeling super confident about October. Our reception is in city limits, where restrictions have been tighter. Started to have the conversation about the possibility of postponement until 2022. Id rather wait to have the “normal” wedding than deal with COVID restrictions.

We’re getting married Halloween 2021 and our wedding guest list is already under 70 guests so I’m really not concerned about downsizing or restrictions at this point. I’m hoping things start ramping up with vaccines, we still have 8 months to see what happens.

October 23rd 2021 at Valley Forge Casino. So far my venue hasn’t said anything about their restrictions or if we need to cut the guest list, hopefully we will know more as we get closer. We’re planning on 90 guests. Just staying positive for these next 8 months. If we have to wear masks then we gotta wear masks just as long as I get to marry my fiancé on our date.

October 24th, 2021 at a banquet hall in Allentown. My venue mentioned that if there is a restriction around the time of my wedding, the limit is only 40 people. Currently working with a guest list of 120. Seeing that the vaccine is out I’m not as worried but get a little anxious. I have made sure all my contracts have that it can be moved to a different date, except the cake which is a nightmare. But other then that, I’m pretty happy with the way things are going, it doesn’t seem to be going south. I’m calm, cool, and collected and keep imagining the day going as planned as we are WAY ahead of schedule in planning.

    Hanging in there -

Im getting so excited and so nervous all at the same time. We are getting married on our ten year anniversary, October 7, 2021.

We had our bridesmaid dress appointment on Saturday and it went fabulous. My girls ordered their dresses and so did each mom. I also found my bridal shoes!!! And not to mention my mom is getting married next year and found her own wedding dress too. It was a crazy but such a fulfilling day.

Anyway - back in January I had contacted over 30 places to have our wedding at and I could not find anywhere that was in budget because our original venue would only operate at 10% compacity if we were doing a buffet style dinner (which we are) and that was a total of 16 people. SIXTEEN. Girl, my bridal party including parents and grandparents is freaking 24. So, I was on a hunt. My step dad secured somewhere for us and I've been on the move ever since to get everything in place. A beautiful Farm house in Palmerton - that he cleans for the gentlemen is letting us use his house as our venue for not only us - but so he can use our wedding as publicity to start using his farm house as a wedding venue. Im very excited.

So originally I had a guest list of 200 people. I have cut it down to about 100 people and I can guarantee about 70 of them showing up. My last big thing I need to secure that will be the most money is the tent and chair and table rental as we are having an outside wedding. Our reception will be in the same place as our ceremony so there will be no need to travel and there is plenty of room for social distancing. Honestly, it is mostly family and a few close friends thrown in there , all we have been around quiet a bit during COVID. I have no worries and if people are worried, they simply do not need to come. We are still going to take precautions, I am going to purchase little hand sanitizers for everyone of the tables if they see a need for it. However, it is an outside wedding and Im not requiring anyone to wear masks. Ive waited long enough and Im tired of waiting and its going to happen one way or another.

Ours is at the end of October the 30th. I have not adjusted anything as many of the guests are in the 1a and 1b phase of vaccination. Hoping that this will not be an issue. Ballroom seats 250 and we are hoping for much less than that for able space.

Married last October but pushed the reception to October 2021. Had our tasting last week and no talk of any restrictions yet. Hoping we don’t have to. Inviting 150. But of course not all will come. The venue is spacious to move people around if needed. Fingers crossed.

So far so good with our wedding plans for October 2nd of 2021! Our venue is 95% outdoors except for cocktail hour but that can be arranged to outside as well. Our venue has not enforced cutting anything down as of now. However we are getting married at a camp that has bunks for the guests to stay in. We planned on keeping families together anyway so we will have to be diligent with that. We have almost 200 people invited but I’m not anticipating some of our out of town guests to attend because of COVID and traveling with kiddos! 🙏🤞 things continue going smoothly and 🙏 to my fellow fall brides on a beautiful wedding day and hopefully COVID free. Hang in there ladies and best of luck!

Our venue has been great also the inside can comfortably sit over 500 and with our slightly under 200 guest count they can properly comply with restrictions if they are still crazy by giving us the full ball room instead of half. To be honest I was stressed about it but I am taking it one day at a time and realizing some of these things are out of my control. I would love everyone to be there but if we have to cut it down we will for sure I have chosen that either way we will not wait. The most important thing of it all is early xx h each other

My fiancée and I settled on a township park nearby. We have our guest list down to 120, and since it is all outside, there’s not much restrictions in place.

Feeling very nervous. Our venue is in center city Philadelphia and entirely indoors. Our next payment is due in March ... any advice on how to approach the conversation with them about deferring the payment until we know more about what we can (or cannot) do in October?
