I just booked for October 9th 2021!! I haven't decided when I'll do my dress shopping because I'm in the process of loosing weight. I was looking at color schemes yesterday. Does anyone have color ideas?

We’re getting married 10/23/21. Postponed due to covid-19 and decided just to wait til next year. I wanted an October wedding originally, but wanted to make sure we had enough time to plan so my original date was 3/21/2020.

View Quoted Comment OMG! We got engaged in December too. December 2, 2018. Which is why it was set for 2020 originally. But I’m ok with October. It’s my favorite month and we actually met on Halloween so I think it should have been October all along

October 23rd, 2021! We booked the venue two days ago (May 28th) and also got engaged the same day! Yes, we were touring wedding venues without actually being engaged 😂 but now it’s official! We know what colors we want and have a photographer booked but nothing further than that! Thinking about all of the things that will need to be done between now and then is overwhelming but exciting!

We recently booked for 10/24/21 and are so excited we were able to grab our dream venue! We also have our DJ and photographer booked and are about to lock in a coordinator soon. I'd recommend reserving asap (and make sure they have a pandemic clause or backup plan). A lot of places are holding up to half of their dates for 2020 reschedules.
