We have our venue booked, which is semi-all inclusive so it includes catering, bar, cake (we can pick from 4 bakeries and will do tastings later), coordinator for the rehearsal and ceremony, tables & chairs, linens, and votive candles. We have also booked our photographer and scheduled engagement photos for November, videography, hair and make up, and we are literally signing the contract for the DJ tonight, who will be doing the music for the whole evening. I am also pretty sure on the photo booth company but we need to work out the details. And we're talking to the venue's contracted coordinator to extend her services for the reception. The colors I'm planning on are mulberry, blush pink, and a pop of gold in the decor. I'm planning on dress shopping starting in November and hopefully purchasing no later than January. I'll be contacting hotels for courtesy blocks soon so we can get that squared away. I'm feeling good about it so far!!
My wedding is Oct 13th 2019. I’ve booked my venue and started on a wedding list gone to a wedding expo. I also have a wedding planner/event coordinator. My theme is more of an elegant/romantic feel.
Our colors are purple gold and navy, we have a venue, dj and for the food we are doing a pizza buffet, since that is our favorite but we are also going to have other things as well. I love to craft so a few ladies who are also part of the wedding party, are going to help me make the table decorations. I also am wearing my mother’s vintage wedding dress but adding a purple sash to it to tie in the purple theme. We are also getting married on a Monday evening, it’s different yes, but we wanted it to be on the 14th, since it has special meanings for us. A friend of ours is helping with pictures and a video. My bff is the wedding coordinator and she has been helping me be stress free.
We are date twins too! That is SO nice that you can access the bridal suite early The extra setup is really just icing on the cake! We got free set up from our venue as well
We have the church, the venue, the catering (comes with the venue), the photographer, the DJ, and the ceremony musicians, and the hair stylist! I feel like the major stuff is taken care of and now on to find the dress! I wanted to not be rushed so we could get the vendors we wanted before they booked out and also time to add in the little personal touches later on!
I have the venue, caterer, and photographer booked. I’m still working on the rest.

October 10, 2019 Just started, contacting and all in one planner/coordinator in Hawaii, waiting on a reply to the quote. They will take care of the paper work, permits, hair and makeup, flowers and photos. Will start looking for a dress in the next few months, still very relaxed.
Lets see hired a wedding planner, wedding set for October 13th 2019, colors are Navy blue, gold and purple found our venue, videographer/photographer. Hoping to do an engagement photo shoot this month so we can send out save the dates
I have 365 days (October 5, 2019) to go until my wedding. I've got the venue (ceremony/reception in same place), catering, alcohol, booked. I don't have the menu for catering and alcohol done yet though, we're thinking we'll get that done in February at our venue. We also have our officiant, and MOH. Make-up, Hair, and Nails are good-to-go, as well. Ceremony will be outside, and include a handfasting.
Colors> Blood Red and Oat (it's like a tan/cream color).
Dress> Done! Will be in my hands on January 2019, just have to do a slight hem on it, which my amazing coworker who is a great seamstress is going to help me do. I'm just so short there's no way I can't go without heming it, even with 3 inch heels I was wearing the day I tried it on. I do still have to find my shoes, and a light wrap in-case it's cold (blood red color).
Other Planning> Right now I'm trying to take a hiatus which is really now turned into doing planning very slow and thinking things through, etc. Haven't really figured anything else out yet, except knowing that were going to do a Faijta Bar during the Cocktail Hour (before the reception), and the Cocktail Hour is in our bar area of the reception, so it will already be decked out for the reception with board games, and Mario Kart!
My issues> right now is not wanting to fork the money out for a DJ and Photographer, ugh! So expensive. We thought we'd do Mp3 or Spotify for music, which would work for most of the reception, but for the beginning when we do our first few dancers, it kind of has to be timed right.
Photography, we both hate photos of ourselves, we don't like photos taken of ourselves, but we do want our moment to be captured, so no decisions there yet.
I'm having a hard time envisioning things, so my themes, ideas for centerpeices, favors, etc are kind of all over the place right now.
That's how it was for me, too. I was going to book the Fox Brook Lodge at Fox Brook Park in Brookfield, WI, beautiful place! However, we went with another venue, because they offered amazing food, and alcohol on-site. My FH talked me into with Mario Kart! and that it would be less stress for me.
Found my venue that caters in July and already paid 1/3 of the total. Booked officiant and music along with completed guest list and budget. Going dress hunting in January but my fiancé already has his tux.
Hi October 19, We changed the date from the 14, to the 19th. Since the 14 is on a Monday it wasn’t very practical for a wedding. Anyway we have our venue, dj, my dress which will be my mother’s dress of 74 years. Ivory satin, I am planning on wearing a purple sash around my waist, and embroidering our names and date in gold on it. Later using the sash on a wedding wreath for our home. I do a lot of crafts so am incorporating things in the wedding and using later somehow. Our colors are purple, gold, navy and cream. We are having a pizza buffet and using white pumpkins as the main decorations
October 12, 2019! The colors took the longest!! But we decided on Oasis and a dark orange/red. We let our photographers pick out date, we told them we wanted it In Oct! They are a very good family friend so we wanted them no matter what! Our reception venue we lucked out on in so many ways!!! Our ceremony venue is up in the air just because of weather. But our reception venue will let us have it there if needed! I feel like a freak! My MOH and I have been to 4 different wedding dress stores and we have another one we are going to this Friday because I can't find a dress! My MOH is picking out the dresses for her and the bridesmaids. I have all my decorations figured out, bought most of them already, but we have to wait until next year to make the big ones.
October 18th here, engaged on Halloween. I have deposit on Airbnb, Venue and food on a tentative hold (warning us 48 hrs in advance should someone try to take my date to put down half of total to secure, Mother is Officiate (she's a chaplain), Wedding party and guests list made. Don't have colors yet except for bouquet... I need browns and oranges and navy/burgundy colors. I will either choose a black or navy dress in all likelihood though not really easy to find. depending on that they will wear burgundy or navy. There is a possibility of champagne color for me but without absolutely adoring it probably not. I am nearing 40 and have kids I do not need to wear white and can really get away with anything at this age, so why not? I have favorite everything on etsy for the details. The ceremony will be at City Park. I've put feelers out on photographers/ beauty and hair people / bakeries but will be some time to replenish my bank acct before I commit to those.
Oh my goodness should check out the infinity dresses on Etsy. They are totally rewearable, inexpensive, and can fit in various ways depending on body shape. That's how I am going Then they can retie it for going out on the town after the reception or during their stay in our destination city. Just a thought, Congrats!
