There is a place called seacrets that is a party club type place that has places to stay while drinking and partying right on the water.

Haha, the only thing I can offer is what Angie said -- Everybody does Seacrets. Doesn't help you re: accommodations but it's a BP must. Note from experience with my twin's Bach. party: they don't allow climbing onstage with one of the 95 reggae bands. Bummer. ;-) (FWIW it was my sister pulling that stunt, not me.)

We were at another BM's family house in Rehoboth and did a taxi van. I'm sure there are some hotels or rental properties near Seacrets, but I've got no specific names for you. Sorry!

Seacrets is great! So is Fager's Island. When are you thinking of doing the bachelorette? If you don't know someone who owns a place down there, it gets difficult in the summer to find anything shorter than a week rental but it can be done. Try the new Hilton or one of the bigger chains.

We got engaged at the Inlet last September and will be staying in OCMD for our mini-moon right after the wedding. Smiley smile

You can still go there! You just can't stay there. There are only a few rooms at Seacrets anyway. We always stay at Princess Bayside (right next door to Seacrets).

I live in Bethany, used to live in OC Smiley smile There are absolutely tons of places to stay! I love the Grand hotel or the Holiday Inn, prices usually are jacked up around that time! You can always ride the bus for $2 all day and go to different places or get a cab! You wont just want to be at Seacrets. OC has a lot of new fun spots Smiley smile As a local, Fish Tales is my fav hangout and a good starting spot Smiley smile GOOD LUCK!

Usually renting a house is cheaper! Homeaway.com! Smiley smile All my guests for the wedding are renting a house and they are saving a lot!

My FH used to work at the Princess (ocean side). They had a pool and gym and big conference rooms, I thought it was very nice. I never stayed at the Hilton in OC, but it is closer to the boardwalk and everyone like the location because you could walk to a lot of bars (I believe it is right next to the green turtle) or take the bus bar hopping if you wanted and there are a few parking lots near it. I like that it kind of has it's own private street since the street is off of Coastal Highway.

What are you looking for? Central location to bars? Shopping? Private get away on the water?

I lived there for many, many years, so if you could be more specific I might be able to help.

Thanks everyone! bee j. I am just looking for somewhere that will only do a 2 night rental (some of the other BM can't get off for more than that) and will fit all 5 of us. We are willing to split up though. As for location, we are not picky at all!

Edit: We are trying to go June 7-9

Just a word of caution, going in June it might be Senior Week for a lot of recent HS grads. Which equals lots of really drunk 18-year-olds everywhere. Don't know if that would bother you or not.

Like a couple of people have already said, the Princess is nice.

No availability at Princess Bayside either :/ I will have to keep searching. Senior week doesn't bother us but thanks for the heads up!
