Hey guys!! So my HUSBAND and I (still doesn't feel real) are going on our honeymoon to Oahu's North Shore on Dec 30th until Jan 10th and looking for things to do!!

Any fun activities, place to eat, hikes to take, ANYTHING would be greatly appreciated (:

We will be staying at an Airbnb on North Shore for the first week, then Turtle Bay Resort for the second week.

The Dole Plantation, Pearl Harbor of course, The Polynesian Center was really cool! I think that was by North Shore. If you like snorkling, Hanauma Bay is really pretty, my uncle saw a sea turtle there!

Just a fair warning: try to avoid H-1 (their version of the interstate, since it can't really go "inter" state) in and out of Honolulu during Rush Hour. About 4 hours in the morning going in, and 4-5 hours in the evening out. 6 lane highway each direction (so 12 lanes total), and it can get bumper-to-bumper traffic really quick!

We hiked Diamond Head when we were there this summer and had a blast. If you go, try to go super early in the morning so it's not too crowded or hot. We also did some surf lessons since the North Shore is prime surfing location. And a local told us to check out shark cove which was cool, and right down the road from turtle bay. Also for food, North Shore Tacos had the best fish tacos I've ever had.

We are actually staying up in North Shore for the 2 weeks we are there, but do have a rental car so we can explore the island. We will make sure to try not to be on the H-1 a lot!

    Oahu, Hawaii Honeymoon 1
Oahu, Hawaii Honeymoon 2 This is the view from the top of Diamond Head.. it’s a great hike but dress accordingly!
North shore beaches is where we saw “wild” sea turtles! All the beaches are amazing but if it’s too crowded stay for an hour and just go to the next beach, most of the time the next beach will have no one on it! 😊 You guys are there for a good amount of time to do anything you want! Defiantly don’t buy anything from the ABC stores (souvenirs, food, etc) unless you have.. they have a huge swap meet at the football stadium and that’s where you can get the same souvenirs for cheap! Also, if you’re trying to save money eat at 7-11 ! Honestly it’s such good food for cheap!! I hope you enjoy! We were there in February and did not want to come home!! Congrats 🙂

We went to Maui & Oahu for our honeymoon. We spent 2 nights at the Four Seasons Ko Olina and 2 nights at Turtle Bay! While we were there, we did a catamaran snorkel & snuba tour that left from Ko Olina Bay (it was awesome, we saw so many fish & a turtle). We also did an ATV tour at Kualoa Ranch (we rented a car so it was easy to drive places), and that was such a cool experience. I would recommend the weekend brunch at the Four Seasons FOR SURE. It's pricey (around $75 a person) but so good, a lot of guests weren't even from the hotel and came from other areas just for the brunch. The adult pool at the Four Seasons is nice too, they gave us a free daybed since it was our honeymoon. The only bad meal we had was at Roy's across from the Four Seasons. There wasn't a ton to do at Turtle Bay, we just did some relaxing & snorkeling (we bought snorkel gear at an ABC store) and ate at food trucks. Here is the link to our BAH Post!

Waimea falls is a short easy walk through a botanical garden to a waterfall that you can swim in.
And if you're into poke....go to the supermarkets. So. Good.
