Hi all! I live in CT & have always dreamed of a New England Fall foliage wedding. Now that I'm actually planning, I'm thinking a NYE wedding would be so much more unique. I think people would enjoy a night out after the chaos that ensues during the holidays. Is it a major inconvenience? Any thoughts...

Hi all! I live in CT & have always dreamed of a New England Fall foliage wedding. Now that I'm actually planning, I'm thinking a NYE wedding would be so much more unique. I think people would enjoy a night out after the chaos that ensues during the holidays. Is it a major inconvenience? Any thoughts (yay or nay) are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

    I'm from CT to I had my wedding 9/29/2017 at The Country House in East Haven and it was beautiful the weather was perfect and the venue was beautiful

    One of my best friend's wedding is on 2018 NYE and I'm super excited, I'm also in the wedding party and don't mind it one bit. But I don't have children, not sure if I would feel the same if I did... if you do have it, then def go all out!

    Thanks for the feedback, everyone!! I have spent the entire day pricing out venues for a 6 hour, semi formal NYE wedding reception.... believe it or not, it's not a giant difference in price! I also told my future stepsons that we are planning a NYE wedding. They wanted to know why we couldn't do it this Coming NYE (so cute)..... I totally understand that some might not be able to attend, due to family traditions, lack of sitters, etc. However, I think that everyone who can be there will be there & it will be a blast! Thank you for all of your opinions. They're greatly appreciated. As for now, we have finally set the date: 12/31/18 <3
