NJ has some really beautiful venues!

OnTheWayToMrA omg I used to go there Thursday nights when I was in my 20's it was a club venue on a Thursday! Omg your going to be so happy! I loved it there!

THE MERION in Cinnaminson, NJ

-They offer a full top shelf open bar included in all their packages

-An insane cocktail hour with so much food and butlered stations, that people are too full to eat the sit down meal

-A several course sit down meal with the option of fish, chicken, or beef--and it's serviced like a restaurant where guests can make substitutions to their meals

-A server for every table

-Dessert Hour that makes you feel like you're in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, even includes a chocolate fountain

-Not to mention, their ballrooms are STUNNING!!! The list goes on and on

Everyone that I know who has ever attended a wedding there thinks it's amazing

AND the best part is, that they are very competitive with their prices, and price match!!!

@geeqt One of my BM said the same thing! I asked if she liked it and she said "I don't remember.. I was 21 and drunk, but I kept going back so it must've been good" lmao.

Ohh trust me it's great! I'm so excited for you! I wish me and my FH would have known it was still around! We both used to go there all the time when we didn't know eachother!

@k&d  My parents got married at the Milleridge in 1982 and we've hosted almost every celebratory event there since then... we LOVE it and it has such special memories for us, you're gonna have such a great time <3

@GeeQT  I'm so excited! I grew up in Queens so I never knew some of these Long Island venues existed (I'd always stay in Queens or head to BK for a night out, not LI). FH was determined to be on the water for our wedding, so we sort of stumbled upon this place and fell in-love.. now everyone we talk to tells us how great it is! I can't believe we'd never heard of it before. It's beautiful

@GeeQT we have a lot of guests too, approximately 240! I hope it does turn out to be everything we hope. I have heard amazing things about Marina del Ray!! Your wedding is going to be beautiful!!

So happy to see my fellow NY and NJ girls are all so happy about their venues and having their dream wedding! All these venues are amazing. Even though NY and NJ is expensive these venues everyone booked are amazing and will be well worth it

@Excited Bride my FH used to valet at the Merion to make extra cash! I've been to 2 weddings and a fundraiser there - the cocktail hour food is great. It's super close to me.

I'm getting married at Valleybrook Country Club (Southern NJ). It's incredibly budget friendly and we have a discount for being off season. They are semi-inclusive and we're getting a lot for our money.

@GracieG we live like 10 minutes away from Glen Island. Each year in the Summer they host the "Best Of Westchester" party. As a bride I suggest you check it out lots of stuff there that can help you plan your wedding.

Stone House at Sterling Ridge in Warren NJ. Saturday night 180 pp. Includes cocktail hour, 4 course dinner, cake and top shelf.

Love the Stone House. I was there last weekend. It's gorgeous.

Midtown Loft and Terrace, NYC. There are amazing views of the NYC skyline especially the Empire State Building.

And creative foods catering; 100 per person. We have about 180 guests

Rochester NY here, we're renting a beautiful lodge in the back of Ellison Park for $350.00! Very budget friendly and secluded.

Eagle oaks country club in farmingale, nj $185 a person for sat night in July with full Venetian hour and ceremony

The Elan in Lodi NJ. $60 per person. Daytime wedding. Semi inclusive (linens, food, open bar, tables, chairs, and etc.) They were fantastic! Food was incredible.
