I had a phone interview this past Tuesday followed by an in-person interview yesterday (Friday). They called me 2 hours after the in-person interview to invite me for a third interview at the main office to meet with the position's immediate supervisor and the program's top director.

I ended up chatting with the person whose position I would be filling for 10-15 minutes before my second interview, and then she was the one who called to invite me to the third interview. During that phone call, she said, word for word, "I don't want to tell you what to wear, but...." So I guess dress sharp?

I wore a black suit to the interview with a ruffly white blouse and low heels. Some of the same people will be there, so I want to wear a different blouse, but the black suit is the only one I own and I am woefully lacking in business attire (I've been working in e-commerce and pajamas are almost acceptable at my office.) Throw some ideas/links at me?

My intake appointment and part of my training will be in the Portland office, but I'll be based in the Salem office. Which is perfect, since we've been trying to relocate from Corvallis to Salem. (I know it's only an hour drive, but...it's an hour drive.)

I went ahead and handed my current boss my resignation. FH and I discussed it and it's just time to move on from that job even if this new one falls through. It'll be a financial struggle if that happens, but not an unbearable one. Turns out that was a pretty good move as far as the transition goes because my boss was able to find a co-worker willing to slide into my position, so I've already started training her.
