Long story short I work for my parents mechanical contracting company and I brought my dog to work today and my dad gave him a raisin thinking it was ok. Nope! They are toxic to dogs. Long story short I work for my parents mechanical contracting company and I brought my dog to work today and my dad gave him a raisin thinking it was ok. Nope! They are toxic to dogs. I called the vet and they said to watch him to look for signs of toxic poisoning and call the poison control center if he starts throwing up or anything like that. Now I can't concentrate on work I'm so worried about my poor pup! Have any of your dogs eaten a grape or raisin and were fine?

Ages ago my roomie and I had two chihuahuas, one 6lb male and 4lb female. They ate two or three grapes and were fine, I was worried about the little one choking but they both peeled them with their teeth and nibbled. Thanks for the raisins info!! Chocolate bar was eaten by the little one and we induced vomiting per veterinarian and she was fine. Love fur babies!!
