I can't understand why it takes me an hour to get ready for work. What am I doing? I decided to time myself today...and my hair takes me 5 mins (just throw it up in a bun or whatever I come up with). As far as my makeup, well that took me 30 mins! Why am I spending so much time on this? Smh. I...

As far as my makeup, well that took me 30 mins! Why am I spending so much time on this? Smh. I shower in the mornings and have to get my 5 year old son ready as well. Anyway, just wondering how long it takes the ladies of WW to get ready. I'm thinking I need to get my makeup routine down to 10-15 mins.

It takes me about 30 mins. I get up, go to the bathroom, take medicine, get dressed, do my hair and make-up, make lunch, gather my things and I'm out the door. I shower the night before so that helps. It probably takes me about 10 mins to do my make-up. I use foundation, mascara, eyeshadow, blush and lipstick.

Once I'm up, I could be ready in 20 minutes. I don't usually wear any/lot of make up.

I'm up at 6:21am and usually out the door at 7:40am. My hair is maybe 8 minutes, but I'm with you on makeup at about 30 minutes. It used to be about 15, but now I use a foundation brush, beauty blender, eye shadow brushes to blend out my eye shadow, etc... that shit takes time. I also do a quick 10 minute workout of sit ups and lunges in the morning along with a 10 minute cuddle party with my dog. Oh, and I have to pick out my clothes and iron them.

Depends...I can do hair and makeup in 20 minutes or so but I am not a morning person and need a couple cups of coffee to get me outta Bitch Mode...so usually I wake up an hour before I have to do to work.

Both our dogs are lazy and stay in bed with who ever is still asleep...during the week he gets up and hour after me and has to put them outside. On they weekends they stay in bed with me while I sleep in

No matter what I do, it's always 1 hour from the time I get out of bed to the time I get out the door. It doesn't make sense because sometimes I shower at night, sometimes I don't wash my hair, etc. I do my hair and make up every day, and some days I have to iron so that eats up time. I also feed and walk the dog. He's also fucking adorable and I kept stopping to play with him this morning.

I get up at 7:15 and am out the door by 7:54 (or else I'm late for my bus and either sprint or miss it). Honestly, 7:15-7:25 is spent just adjusting to being awake haha. I check emails (mainly because my sister has been emailing me about invitations which she made and ordered for us while she's in Switzerland), Pinterest, etc... 5 minutes spent on brushing my retainer and my teeth. A few more minutes washing my face. 5 minutes on face makeup (IT cosmetics CC cream - applied with fingers, cover up if needed, Neutrogena face clearing powder). Then I wash and lotion my hands, go get dressed and by the time I'm downstairs, it's usually 7:50ish. I usually bring several packed/frozen lunches to work each Monday and leave them in the fridge/freezer. If I don't have any, then I'll use those few free minutes in the morning to pack something up. I do the rest of my makeup on the bus (just eye makeup and blush at this point). There are several stops, which is when I do eyeliner and mascara. Shadow and blush can be done while moving.

FH wakes up later, so he takes care of the pup.

My alarm goes off at 5 and I'm in the car by 5:25. I am very efficient.

I wash my hair the night before (and shave if needed) and pick out my clothes. I have my work bag ready to go. When my alarm goes off I get in the shower, wash face/body (use a shower cap over my hair) quickly. Heat up straightening iron while I brush my teeth and put in contacts. Get dressed. Moisturize face. comb and straighten hair. Kiss my husband, pat the cat's head, and go downstairs, grab my bag, and walk out the door.

If I want to wear makeup, I do it at work. But I usually don't bother.

About 30 min. I shower the night before because my hair takes forever to dry. I eat breakfast at work and pack my lunch the night before.

Usually 20 minutes. I actually live 7 mins from my job (no highway necessary) so I can literally wake up 30 minutes before I need to be there. I also shower before bed unless some reason to shower again (I don't believe in going to bed dirty). I wake up, Thank God, check my phone (this is actually one of the longest parts LOL), brush teeth and wash face, swipe deodorant (yup literally in that order). I basically wear the same thing to work everyday (again unless theres a reason to change it: like I have an even after work or a court hearing where I need to wear a suit) typically a business casual dress I have about 20 of them add pumps, pearls, and e-ring. No make up. If I have something I need makeup on the weekday I usually just take my makeup bag to work and put it on later. I am dieting now so I add about 5 minutes to grab my breakfast=fruit, lunch=dinner leftovers, and a healthy snack.

It usually takes me like 30 minutes from when I get out of bed to out the door. The longest part is usually getting out of the bed. If we included when my alarm goes off to when I get out the door, that's an hour.

Alarm goes off at 5:40, usually I snooze till it's 6. Most of my time is spend with makeup. I shower the night before as well as make lunch in advance. I just throw my hair up into a ponytail or bun and do all my makeup. So primer, foundation, concealer (spots and undereye), eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, eyebrows, powder, blush, lipstick (typically in that order). Takes me 15-20 minutes for that, but I usually am in the car by 6:30.

I get up at 7:10 and I leave the house at 7:50 to be at work by 8:00 - so 40 minutes and that includes shower, coffee, breakfast, makeup, hair, and grabbing clothes.

I do almost everything possible the night before. I make my coffee on a timer, pre pack mine and FH's lunches, and set my clothes out. I get out of bed at 5:25 and I am downstairs making toast by 5:57 usually and out the door no later than 6:10. In the 30 minutes of getting ready I brush my teeth, do cover-up, blush, highlighter, and mascara. I usually don't do my hair fancy at work since I work in a prison and have to wear it up, I usually throw it in a French braid. ETA: I can't type correctly

15 minutes...with full make-up, concealer, primer, foundation, powder, 3 shades of eyeshadow, liner, mascara, blush and lip liner and lipstick, and that includes ironing my clothes. I shower the night before because it takes so long for my hair to dry and I hate blow drying. I usually just run finishing cream through my curly hair and an go.

I have some chronic health issues that cause me to seriously manage how much I do first thing in the morning. I've started only washing my hair every 2-3 days because otherwise I'm exhausted. So I kind of trade off what I do each day. Sometimes I can spend more time in the shower...other times it's a quick soap & water thing, hair in bun, and I may get to spend more time on my makeup. I try not to spend more than 30 min getting ready, but I also have to take about 20-30 min laying in bed before I can start getting ready. Whew. It's a balancing act!

If I actually just got down to it and got ready- about 30 minutes.

Buuuuut I scroll through Facebook while getting ready. Or I fold a load of laundry. Or I decide I need to do a whopping 10 crunches. I get so sidetracked and it takes me about an hour.

    1 hr.

Wake up at 530. 15 minutes to brush my teeth, wash my face, say hi to puppies. 15 minutes to cook breakfast/make lunch. 5 minutes to eat. 10-15 minute doggie walk. Put on clothes for work (I don't do my hair or makeup). Dogs in crates. Gather up stuff, and leave!

From the time I get out of bed to the time I'm out the door it's about an hour. I don't have to spend too much time on my hair, it has a natural wave and most of the time I just leave it that way so that saves me a bunch of time.

If I want to look half decent, 30 minutes if I showered the night before. 15 minutes if I want the extra sleep.

If I have to shower then an hour.
