Thought I'd share this story with you ladies: my bridesmaid has been dating her BF casually, they're not engaged and have no plans to be so in the near future. After she told her parents I had asked her to be my bridesmaid, she got a phone call from her great-aunt the next day DEMANDING to know she she was getting married and to make sure it wasn't in 2014, because her great-aunt wasn't going to plan a family reunion that year since obviously my MOH would invite her entire extended family (200 people) to her wedding and let the great-aunt plan the entire thing, and obviously it would be at the great-aunt's church, even though the great-aunt's church is four states away from where my MOH actually lives.
Btw, my bridesmaid told me when she does get married, she wasn't really planning on inviting that great-aunt anyway. Though all of you ladies would LOL at this one.
