My FSIL is crazy about LLR. I DESPISE their clothing. I get that some like it, it's just not my thing. I work in a CPA office and I meet with clients daily. Tight, stretchy, and knit jersey are 3 things I dont have in my wardrobe. My FSIL knows this because I am pn a tight budget so my regular...

My FSIL is crazy about LLR. I DESPISE their clothing. I get that some like it, it's just not my thing. I work in a CPA office and I meet with clients daily. Tight, stretchy, and knit jersey are 3 things I dont have in my wardrobe. My FSIL knows this because I am pn a tight budget so my regular clothes tend to be pieces I wear to work. Anyway, she held a LLR party last week and for 3 days did nothing but tag me in things and every time, I told her no thanks. Then today, during my dress debate for a wedding this weekend, she said that I should but this dress from LLR. My eye twitched. Jersey knit is not formal. Jersey knit can not be made formal with accesories. I dont know what else to politely say to her that I do not want any of her direct sales crap. Between the leggings, makeup and jewelry shes always pushing I am about to lose it. Sorry for the second post and being so needy today but I cant say anything to any of my real life people.

I cannot abide any company that tells people to make money selling to friends. First of all, you are exploiting the friendship for profit, which is a rude on the part of the person, and also, the companies are almost always some kind of pyramid scheme, and if people don't sell enough, they have to pay.

Can't say I blame them considering the consultants "invest" between $5k- $6k just to start their "business". If I had that kind of money tied up in pieces of clothing that were sent to me at random (and not by my choosing which pieces I wanted to sell), I'd annoy everyone I owned trying to get them to help me make my money back.

My FSIL and two of my other bridesmaids are obsessed with LLR. They're always tagging me on fb and trying to win different items. They always send a text before they add me to whatever group so I'm aware and can go delete myself from the group.

    Richard put it perfectly.

I have a friend who's into that "lipsense" crap. And, was CONSTANTLY sending me stuff about it. I sent her a message like, "hey, I don't even wear lipstick. Thanks though" and she's stopped. Just be honest!

I have a love/hate relationship with MLM's...there are certain products I love because I do believe they are better than what I get in a store, but I hate how some people sell them.

I am a consultant (not LLR), and I could never imagine trying to push my product for someone's wedding, but I treat my product like a small business...no parties, I don't need people to join my team to make money, and I certainly don't add people to groups they didn't ask to be a part of, lol.

I just couldn't even imagine being able to do that to someone, lol
