I hate to post again today, but this is killing me. I'm having an allergic reaction to something I use in the shower. I move from product to product, because I start out with no issue then it suddenly most things start to make my palms and bottom of my feet itch like crazy! I am using Dove body wash and Aussie shampoo right now, but I've had to stop using multiple products before because the reaction was so bad. I can't go see someone right now, so does anyone have any recommendations of products I can look into that might cause me less of a reaction? I searched online and Aveeno was recommended, but I figured I'd try to get some feedback here as well. Anything that means I'm not running from the shower to slather my palms in lotion for some kind of relief would be great lol Thanks!

I've changed things that I thought were causing the reaction out, only for it to come back after awhile. The only thing that I haven't changed out is Dove, so that could be it. I was also thinking maybe whatever the shower is cleaned with? I'm going to try Aveeno first. When I was younger I had a horrible reaction to shea butter, so I'm going to steer clear of that.

    Thanks everyone for your suggestions!!

Random question but are you gluten free? (Like..celiac disease) I know a lot of shampoos have gluten in them, so if you are it could be that!

Are you cleaning your shower regularly? Showers can have more bacteria than your toilet seat.

I have severe atopic dermatitis and wasn't able to get rid of it (for the most part) until I did the following:

-Cetaphil bar soap. The Dove you're using probably still has irritants.

-Get rid of the shower pouf if you use one, use a clean washcloth instead each time.

-Cetaphil or Cerave lotion ONLY. No dermatologist will recommend anything else.

-Ditch scented laundry detergents, softeners and dryer sheets. Especially for your bedding.

If none of this works, you'll want to go in for an allergy test to determine if it's food or environmental allergens that are affecting you.

I would look for something without dyes or scents, perhaps Dr. Bronners. And make sure you are using free and clear laundry detergent.
