Not usually this person, but....What do you wear to your bachelorette party?

I feel totally dumb asking this, because I'm an adult and I can dress myself, but...I am not really a party or out on the town kind of person. I'm more of an introverted bookworm type, but my bachelorette party is coming up on April 1st (yeah, I have time, so I'm not too worried), and I literally...

I'm more of an introverted bookworm type, but my bachelorette party is coming up on April 1st (yeah, I have time, so I'm not too worried), and I literally don't know what to wear. We're going to downtown Detroit to go bar hopping and hit up the casino's and maybe a couple of clubs, and I don't know what to wear to any of those places. (Never been in a casino. Or a club.) I don' t know why this stumps me so much, but I'm genuinely puzzled here. One of my BM's doesn't know what to wear either so we are planning a shopping trip, but...what am I even looking for?

Hi there, my fellow Michigan bride! I live about 10 minutes from downtown Detroit in Midtown! BUT...like you, I'm also not big on going out. My typical Friday night is playing cribbage with my fiance and sharing a bottle of wine. Smiley winking

Definitely wear comfortable shoes and whether you're wearing jeans or a dress, make sure YOU feel comfortable in it! The temperature is going to be difficult to predict but you might not want to lug around a coat while bar hopping either so maybe something dressy with long sleeves? Let us know what you decide!

Definitely cocktail dress. I have had great luck at Ross - both my Bachelorette and Rehearsal Dinner dresses came from there. Wear comfortable shoes!

I'm not a going out person either, I found a sparkly top at gap and either wore leggings or black jeans, don't remember, with heels. The girls made me a sash and they all wore black (not planned just worked out that way).

Also, I was really bad and went into philly without an outfit, literally bought that top an hour before our dinner reservation. Oops Smiley smile

I would wear a dress with a not-too-tight skirt. A dress is good because it can be dressed up or down, you don't have to worry about tucking in a shirt or a skirt twisting around, and you only need to buy one piece. Having some wiggle room in the skirt is useful for dancing- more comfortable and again, you don't have to worry about it riding up.

And I wouldn't bother with high heels. A wedge at most. But when you're in a crowded club, no one can see your feet anyway Smiley winking

Yay!!! @melanie!!! We are so close!!! I could always throw a cute jean jacket over some kind of cute dress. Of course my cousin who sells LuLaRoe is trying to find me a dress too! Haha

So I'm thinking I'll try on a couple cocktail dresses and maybe a couple skinny jean/boot outfits and see how I feel in both. Maybe I'll plan two outfits and if it's warm I'll go dress, cold I'll go skinny jeans!!

@samantha!!! I wonder if we are from the same area!!! I grew up in Royal Oak! Smiley smile

Wear lots of clothes because if your anything like me you end up losing pieces of your attire the more drunk you get.

I went to the club for my bachelorette and I just wore black leggings and a flowy tank top. So I went with comfort lol. Keep in mind if you're dancing/drinking in a crowded place your going to sweat.

I am from Baltimore and I wore nice jeans/shoes and a really sexy black top because I don't like wandering around Baltimore in a dress

I bought this cocktail dress in white:

My MOH is planning and told me to wear a white dress and everyone else is wearing black (I believe).

Clothes would work really well, but I'm not an expert.
