My husband-to-be and I aren't taking a honeymoon immediately after the wedding either. He's transferring from out of state and he'll need to take time off for the wedding as well as a cruise, which will be 3 months later. It'll be alright. We're excited all the same. As my Intended and I have agreed, our story may not be the typical story, but it's ours and we'll write the chapters as we see fit. Unless having a delayed honeymoon is something that bothers you, relax and just enjoy your initial blessed bliss of just being together. The honeymoon is always with you, as you are together. God bless

Were getting married in April and honeymooning in Alaska in August - as some other folks have said, we didn’t want to rush everything and we get more time to plan for the honeymoon. Plus neither of us would’ve been able to take so muhhbtime off in one go.

We're planning on doing a mini-moon for a few days then a full-fledged honeymoon a few months later. Gives us some time to recover from the madness!

We are fortunate enough to be able to go to Thailand for our honeymoon! Our wedding is in May, which is the start of rainy season there so we’re putting off our honeymoon until November for a better experience.

We have not decided yet if we are taking a honeymoon right after, but I'm fine with not taking on right after, maybe buying a house and then after a few years, maybe going to Italy or somewhere else we haven't been yet.

My Fiance' is a teacher and we are getting married this april... So we decided to just do a 'mini moon' so we will do a sunday afternoon to tuesday evening, and resume real life on wednesday. We are going to take our honeymoon either over the summer, winter break or on his spring break the following year as a 1 year anniversary trip. Havent figured it out yet, but its nice not having that added stress right now.

Same boat! My fiancé and I planned a two week trip before we got engaged. A month after we bought the plane tickets, he proposed! So we have just enough time to take off for the wedding and a couple days after, but we will take our actual honeymoon sometime in 2020.

We really can’t book a honeymoon quite yet because we have to take a week off. We live in Denver but the wedding is in Pennsylvania. Just take your time and enjoy it! But make sure you have a honeymoon, everyone needs a break every once in awhile.

We’re getting married in August but won’t take a vacation until September or Ocyober...we travel quite a bit (he proposed last summer in Thailand...) so I really don’t feel the need for a “honeymoon. We plan on taking a couple weeks off in September to go to South America. We promised each other “love and adventure” but that has been ongoing since we me a couple years ago. Smiley smile

We’re getting married in the ending of May, but we’re most likely holding off our honey moon until Feb 2020 because we have no more days off of work- so that’s what will work best for us.

Our original plan was to go a few weeks after, over Christmas break, but now my sister might be having her baby around then (she's doing IVF so things are just slightly more predictable) so we are thinking of pushing it back to the spring. It gives me time to save up more leave if needed which probably I will as our venue is 3 hours away and not easy for me to get to without taking a whole day off work!

We are getting Married in June but didn't want to compromise on our honeymoon so for financial reasons we are not taking our honeymoon until November. it kinda stinks that we can't just jet off but I think it will be good because it will give me something else to look forward to and plan when I am going through planning withdrawls lol and it gives us a chance to come down off the wedding high before we take off for the honeymoon so we can really experience it and not just be in a haze lol

My fiance and I were talking about that this morning actually. I think we will probably do something after we have time to save up from the wedding and do an amazing honeymoon, so it wont be able to be immediately after.

Not me! Smiley catface We have 2 kids and by then hopefully he has a new job (waiting for his start date). We talked about maybe taking a weekend somewhere close by but at this point I doubt that even happens. I am fine with doing it later though, we can not fathom leaving my kids for more then 2 days so lol
