Not crazy about sweetheart neckline..

I always see brides changing their neckline into a sweetheart neckline but what about the other way around? I’m not a fan of my sweetheart neckline. Has anyone else done this? Made it straight across, added a modesty panel, etc? Before and after pics would be great!

I haven’t had alterations done yet because I’m still paying off the dress, but I’m putting in a modesty piece (the exact piece in the picture) because I don’t like the sweetheart neckline and I don’t feel comfortable being around lots of people and showing any cleavage. My seamstress quoted me $25 for adding that piece.

When I tried on the sample for my wedding dress, I had planned to add in a modesty panel. The fitting room attendant took a cap sleeve sample and shimmied it into the bust of the dress and said we could choose one as sheer or not sheer as I wanted. Would have been a really easy fix!

Yes. Was hoping to see dresses that other brides had altered to change it.
