Is anyone doing a non traditional guestbook? I saw the big letter that everyone signs and also the heart shape paper. What are you ladies planning to do?

I am having my guest sign a giant wooden K that I painted white(for our last name) they will sign it with black or gold sharpie. So I can hang it on our wall.

I love this idea! I was considering a big M that way we can also hang it on the wall. I just didn’t want the traditional book because I doubt we ever look at it again.
We ordered this poster for guests to sign. The items on the top of the stacks of books were chosen from a list of about 100 options so it feels really personal to us. Here is the link, if anyone is interested:https://www.etsy.com/listing/268224745/library-themed-wedding-guest-book

We were really happy with the finished product and I just framed it last week. I wrote in the titles of some of our favorite books where there was too much of a gap between signatures (in black ink since all of our guests signed in colored ink).

That is exactly why I chose to do the letter! I will always hang it up a book I would literally put away and all it would do is collect dust 😁
It's such a cute idea and unique! You can then either frame it, or leave it as a puzzle and put together from time to time to reminisce about the big day.

It’s about an inch thick for mine! We’re still in the process of making it, we bought 1/2 a sheet of plywood from Lowe’s and my dad is making a stencil and cutting it for us!

We are expecting about 100 guests. We’re doing 2 feet wide by 3 feet tall. We assumed that some people might sign separate and other families might just sign as a family together but we feel that there will be enough room.

Oh nice!! We are also expecting 100 guest. I was also considering the champagne bottle popping art. It’s similar to the finger print family tree art. Instead the ‘champagne’ would be finger prints. Our colors are champagne and we both are drinkers (but not alcoholics) and I thought that would be a good idea too.

I definitely like that idea and it would match your color scheme. Do whatever you think would match you and your partners personality the best!
