My FH and I are on a tight budget so we have gone a non-traditional route with a lot of things for our wedding.
First, we are having a courthouse ceremony and a small reception afterwards. It's also going to be on a Thursday evening in December because the venue was cheaper during this date. I am foregoing a wedding/event planner and we're doing all of the planning on our own. It is kind of overwhelming remembering the tiny details that go into planning a successful get together for close family and friends (For example: how much beer and wine to order, plastic vs. real glass and silverware, table arrangement, etc.). Are there any tips you would give to someone that is having a non-traditional celebration and/or planning on their own? Any advice is helpful!
Thanks!
