Non-Negotiables...

What were your priorities and/or non-negotiables when it came to planning your big day and/or finding THE dress mine were that I absolutely wanted to watch the sun set during the reception, my military brother could be there, and that I had a long veil

Honestly, I don't really have any. Maybe no paper plates. But I'm pretty flexible/adaptable, so I have lots of plan Bs and Cs in case A doesn't work.

    My only 2 were:

    On the beach

    Open bar

Edited: Ok I remember now - the dress had to have fabric covered buttons on the back - hard to find where I live in the land of lace up corset backs! Ended up finding my dress out-of-state.

DH said no WAY were we getting marriend in a church, period. So, we got married outside. For me, the really important part was the big, poofy dress I'd been waiting years to wear! After that, as long as I married DH, I didn't care. Smiley sexy

No limit on guests, open bar, good food, dancing, and of course, walking down the aisle with my FH at the other end. There will be nothing better than that.

We wanted the wedding to be outdoors and in wine country.

I wanted amazing food & wine (meeting with caterers next month for tastings!)

Gorgeous Photography because that's what lasts

Small intimate wedding where everyone is someone that we love!!!

I was so adamant about having a Saturday evening wedding, but I was convinced to do an afternoon when we picked the venue. So that went out the wedding.

I won't negotiate on an open bar.
