Non-dressy shoes/sandals: did anyone do this?

Hi guys! I wanted to see if anyone wore less dressy shoes for their wedding. If you have any photos (especially w/your gown on) I'd love to see! Also related: do people even see your shoes if you're wearing a long gown? I have bad feet, but the Patrizia brand is SO comfy for me. I have a pair of...

I have bad feet, but the Patrizia brand is SO comfy for me. I have a pair of platform wedge sandals from them that I could wear all day. But, I am concerned that the fabrics they use will look too casual with my wedding dress. I'm short and having a ceremony on the grass, so platform wedges are ideal. I haven't had luck so far with finding satin shoes that fit right, but I also haven't tried really hard. I need to make my shoe decision within 2 weeks in time for my first gown fitting!

In the meanwhile, I'll share a pic of my gown and also a pic of the shoes I'm considering:

My shoes were keds wedges in a white eyelet material. They were simple and cute but clearly not super dressy. About what I would wear with a simple sundress. But really they didn't show at all under my dress. Funny thing is that one of my favorite pics from the wedding is where I am holding my dress up to show my shoes and my "something blue" which was my doctor who tardis socks! Yes, I wore sock to my wedding. The shoes were a little big and honestly I just wanted to me comfy. I would have worn full on tennis shoes except I have back problems and wearing a heel helps my back pain and posture.

I think those are really cute! If I hadn't already bought mine, I'd consider them myself! Haha

Comfort makes a huge difference! And no one will even see them.

I didn't want flashy silver rhinestone heels myself because I'd never wear them again. Go more neutral and you can wear them out again and again! Mine look something like this, I wanted simple wedges since we're getting married in a botanical garden:
