I'm about to announce/ask my bridesmaids. Because I'm having a small DW I've only chosen 2 ladies to stand by me.

This is a ways off but it got me thinking....When it comes to the bachelorette party, is it rude to invite other ladies to the Bachelorette party but not have them be a BM? I have about 5-6 others that I would love to attend, but they aren't in my bridal party.

No please invite them! I had 2 non-bridesmaids attend and they were the most fun of the entire group! They don't have to say yes after all.

Definitely not rude! There were 15 girls at my bachelorette party 5 cousins, 7 bridesmaids, and 3 other close girl friends. It was a blast!

Not rude at all. Most of my bach party is non-bm. Some are coming even though they aren't invited to my small, intimate family wedding. I explained that gently and no one has an issue with it. They are good friends who understand. I say go for it.
