Noise concerns for our destination wedding

Meetthealvarez’S, on April 14, 2020 at 2:25 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4
Hi there, we are having our wedding in Jamaica Sandals Resort Montego Bay. I saw a video and wasn’t aware of all the airplane traffic and noise. I’m scared of it affecting our wedding ceremony. I don’t want people or my FH and myself not to be able to here our vows or what is going on during the ceremony. Has anyone experienced this as an issue? Is there a way to ensure the timing of my ceremony with flight takeoff. We are having a twilight ceremony so it will probably be around 7-7:30pm depending on sunset.

Most places there really is no way. Because any takeoff or landing may vary 15 minutes either way from a schedule, more if stacked up. And chartered jets or small planes are not on the schedule at all.

Thanks 😊 Judith. I didn’t even think about private plans as well.

Twilight/sunset weddings take place at 5pm. We're getting married in Jamaica as well at the Sandals South Coast resort. We chose that one because it is more secluded and quiet.
