No traditional first dance songs

My Little Girl song (country song) is the one my dad picked out for our dance. My fiancé’s parents liked the song Cinderella (by an older singer). Those two are great options :-)

What genre of music do you like most? How did you meet, how long ago, what's your "story"? That may prompt some good suggestions.

FH and I are dancing to I Swear by John Michael Montgomery. I assumed it would’ve been a pretty typically chosen song but surprisingly I haven’t seen it many places as “popular”!

We’re dancing the The Rainbow Connection (by the muppets). We want something a little different and was in waltz time

A little non-tradish song that my FH and I are thinking about it Beyond by Leon Bridges. Classy and Lovey-Dovey but I’ve never heard it at a wedding.

View Quoted Comment I def enoy corey taylor from slipknot. He has a song called ill be your lover too. Check it out. Not a typical slow dance type of song. Its a slow song but its def more of a rougher sounding song.

I'm leaning towards "As You Are" by Daughtry. A few others I considered were "Do It All For You" by Somo and "Overjoyed" by Matchbox 20.
